The Process

Headlights faded, hazy, or seem just little brown in appearance?

Are you straining to see at night while you're driving on these dark Colorado roads? Don't worry, its not your eyes! Its your headlight lenses. The solution is simple, its called Headlight Restoration.

Really, there's no rhyme or reason as to why it happens to all vehicles no matter the make, model or year. Of course, due to modern technology the automotive manufacturing industry has made improvements to lessen or prevent lens fading. But in the meantime we can at least get your lenses to approximately 85% clarity.

Our process removes the oxidation layer off of the lenses with a light sanding.

No worries, the lenses are dense enough to withstand a few passes with a polisher and the sanding compound.

  1. We inspection the lenses to see if correction is possible

  2. Wash the lenses thoroughly

  3. Use a window cleaner and iron remover

  4. Wash the lenses again and rinse them off

  5. Use a drill along with the buffer pad attachment

  6. Apply the chemical sanding compound and begin at a low and steady speed

  7. Watch carefully to ensure that the faded layers are being removed

  8. Repeat the buffing until the desired clarity occurs

  9. Wash the lenses for one final time

  10. Apply System X Ceramic Coating for protection and prolonging lens life

Your safety is our priority.

We want to make sure you can see at night and that others can see you. We will take a look at your headlights and make a recommendation on which restoration is best for you.
