1993 Camaro Z28

This vintage muscle car from the 1990's was a completely cool project for our restorative paint correction process. Being that this Camaro was our oldest request at 31 years old, we took a very careful approach since our client Joyce kept it in pristine condition. No rust, no worn parts on the exterior or interior, this Camaro is in cherry condition reflecting the visceral horsepower from yesteryear.

However, due to time the paint was faded and micro scratches were formed on in the clear coat. So, we had to perform a rehab correction which took longer than anticipated. We intentionally took our time in the corrective process to ensure that the paint was not compromised and with the paints age we used pads and compounds non aggressively but we still achieved the expected results.

After 8 hours of corrective techniques we restored the paint to about 85% corrected. 31 year old paint has some rock chips and major areas where some wet sanding, priming and repainting could restore it easily.

1993 is back and we brought it back through this restorative paint correction process and we went with the ShowStopper package which not only bonds and protects the paint but adds a blinding shine.

Let us tell you that the photos fall short of how bright, red and vibrant the paint looks.

Now this Z28 is just as fast as it looks.
