We can bring your interior back to life!
We can help...
Don't feel embarrassed about the current state of your interior.
The good news is we can restore your interior to a like new appearance!
Some interiors have experienced a little more life than others and need a little extra love and labor to reset it. This is what we refer to as a restorative cleaning.
You may be thinking, "My interior is way too dirty, it's impossible to clean!"
Stop! Not to worry, we've experienced some gnarly interiors, from 5 year old baking dough, to chewing gum stuck in door panels, to rotten food wedged between seat cushions. We haven't seen it all and we are always ready to face any challenge.
So What’s The Big Deal With This Type of Cleaning?
With the Restorative Interior Cleaning, the interior requires that we double our cleaning efforts, dive in deeper, and repeat the process until we can reach a like-new condition:

-
Increase soak time of our pre-treatment cleaning agents
-
Loosen dirt and stains with brushing and agitation tools
-
Use a powerful extractor to pull out all dirt and stains
-
Eliminate odors with our ozone eliminator
-
Remove pet hair and pet dander using special tools
-
Finish with a refreshing scented cleaning agent
Drop your vehicle off at our shop, we'll take care of the rest.
The cleaning will take 4 to 8 hours to complete. If we need to address extreme issues such as urine, blood, and/or feces, it may take up to 2 days to complete. In order for us to properly execute the restorative we would need you to simply drop your vehicle off at the shop, so we take care of it We are committed to ensuring you have a safe and sanitized interior for you and your family.

Some stubborn stains may prevent us from restoring your interior back to its original condition. The fabric in headliners are delicate so we can only spot treat it. Any aggressive cleaning may cause it to sag and detach from the roof. We will clean your cabin carefully, taking into consideration the age or the condition of areas and try to clean it as best as possible without causing any damage.
Maintain your restoration with a few tips and tricks.
We recommend you change your cabin filter after receiving this service. Any odors, dirt, and pet dander will remain in the filter and enter back into your vehicle it is not changed.

Use a sun shade in your windshield when the vehicle is parked in the sun. The sun can not only damage dashboards, instrument cluster panels, warp touchscreens, and fade upholstery, but it can also bake in stains and dirt.

Unfortunately, we do not stitch repair leather of cloth seats, we leave the needle and thread to the experts!

We will clean your interior regularly and address stains immediately. We can help you maintain your restoration with a custom detail that fits your lifestyle!
Restorative Interior Cleaning FAQs
This Honda Fit restorative project had pet hair mixed with with dirt and splatter cosmetics. So, we restored the upholstery to a like new appearance.
How long does this service take to complete?
It all depends on the condition of the interior. Usually, it takes 4 to 8 hours which is why we request that you leave your vehicle at the shop. Extreme cases can put up a fight, we'll let you know if more time is needed.

Will my seats and carpet be soaked in chemicals and water?
No! Our machines are designed to insert water and chemicals, cycle them through your upholstery and vacuum it out in a few passes. Also, we allow the seats and upholstery to recover before returning your vehicle back to you. We know when to tap out on a stubborn stain.

Will this remove the odor out of my interior?
It most cases the odor will be eliminated or greatly reduced. It just depends on the source of the odor and how long it permeated your interior. Time and exposure is an odor's best ally, so the quicker we can address the problem the better chance we have of eliminating the odor. Note: we advise you to change your cabin air filters immediately after a restorative cleaning.

Can you remove stains completely?
It really depends on the type of stain, where the stain is located, and most importantly, how long the stain been in embedded in the material. We'll do our best with our cleaners and equipment but we will definitely inform you if we cannot fully remove a stain. Due to time and what type of stain it is (dye, Clorox, kool aid, cosmetics, aggressive chemicals spills, old water spot damage) we will attempt it once and if we don't notice any reasonable change then we will leave the stain in order to prevent any further damage in our cleaning process.

Will my head liner be cleaned as well?
No. Unfortunately, some head liners are attached by adhesion. Which means even if we attempt the lightest form of cleaning stains it might tend to snag or permanently detach from the roof. So, we'd rather error on the side of caution rather than taking the chance of causing a serious problem with driving and safety.

Will you remove trash from the inside of the vehicle?
Yes, but its a $25 initial charge for trash removal and $25 an hour if it exceeds the 1st hour. We'd prefer an empty vehicle so we can begin detailing immediately. More importantly even though we wear protective gear, we're trying to preserve our health and safety.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, since this restorative cleaning takes 48 to 72 hours in order to complete a 25% deposit is required. We are reserving a shop space along with our team in order to give our full attention to your vehicle. Yes, you may reschedule and your deposit will go towards the full payment upon completion and your satisfaction.

Lastly and most importantly once we restore your vehicles interior be sure to schedule a Premiere Detail with us about a month after this service.
That way we can keep your vehicle fresh and clean!
The Reasons Why We Refuse to Service Extremely Dirty Interiors
At The Gritty Company, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service and exceptional results for every vehicle we detail. To maintain these high standards and ensure we can continue providing the best care for all our customers, we have made the difficult decision to decline servicing extremely dirty vehicles. These vehicles require significantly more time, effort, and resources to clean, which can impact our ability to serve other customers efficiently and maintain our quality of service. Additionally, servicing extremely dirty vehicles poses safety concerns for our employees, as excessive dirt, debris, and potential biohazards can create an unsafe working environment.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage regular vehicle maintenance to help keep your car in the best possible condition.
