for Auto Detailing, Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Coating, Vinyl Wrap, and
Window Tinting Services
Effective: December 23, 2024
1. General Agreement
-
By scheduling or accepting services from The Gritty Company ("the Company"), you ("the Customer") agree to the terms and conditions ("the Terms," “the Agreement”) outlined below.

These terms govern all services provided by the Company, including auto detailing, paint protection film (PPF) installation, ceramic coating application, and vinyl wrap installation.
2. Services Provided
-
The Company will provide services as outlined in the customer’s selected package or service agreement.

Additional services requested beyond the initial agreement may incur extra charges.

The Company has the right to refuse or terminate any services if the vehicle's condition prevents the Company from fulfilling the service agreement, and/or the services requested can cause damage to the vehicle, and/or a potentially harmful situation exists that could jeopardize the safety of the Company employees or the safety of the Customer or the public.
3. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer must disclose any pre-existing conditions or damage to the vehicle’s exterior or interior before the commencement of services.

The Customer must ensure the vehicle is accessible and free of personal belongings.

The Company is not liable for damage to personal items left in the vehicle during service.

The Company will not disassemble or assemble any parts of the vehicle for auto detailing and ceramic coating application.. The Customer is responsible for removing any parts of the vehicle to allow the Company access for service. The Customer is responsible for replacing those parts after service has been performed.

The Company will not remove or install any baby seats or booster seats. Services will be performed around these items if they are not removed by the customer.
4. Liability and Limitations

The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear on the vehicle.

The Company will exercise reasonable care while servicing the vehicle but is not liable for damages caused by unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, material defects, or third-party interference.

The Company has general insurance including coverage for property damage at a level that would be considered reasonable in the industry based on the risk associated with the characteristics of this Agreement and only to the extent permitted by law.

The Company is not responsible for any bodily injuries incurred by the Customer due to soap, water, chemicals, and/or parts, products, machines that are in or around the proximity of the shop or the Customer's property.

Except to the extent paid in settlement from any applicable insurance policies, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, punitive damages, expenses, reasonable legal fees and costs of any kind or amount whatsoever, which result from or arise out of any act or omission of the indemnifying party, its respective affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and permitted successors that occurs in connection with this Agreement. This indemnification will survive the termination of this Agreement.
5. Mobile Services

The Customer must provide access to a safe and reliable source of electricity and water at the service location.

The Company is not responsible for delays or incomplete services resulting from the unavailability or insufficiency of these utilities (i.e., electrical failure, power outage, electrical fire/spark, blown breakers/disabled breaker boxes, and or melted/inoperable outlets, failed water source, educed water pressure or frequency, broken/malfunctioning facet, or any sewage, function, and/or drainage occurrences).

The Company reserves the right to charge additional fees or reschedule services if adequate utilities are not available.
6. Paint Protection Film (PPF)
-
PPF installations are performed on clean and properly prepared surfaces. The Customer must ensure the vehicle is delivered in acceptable condition for application.

The Company may need to remove specific parts of the vehicle in order to install a vinyl wrap correctly such as door handles and bumpers. The Company will notify the Customer of parts that will need to be removed and reinstalled at the time of the quote.

Minor imperfections such as bubbles or stretch marks may naturally occur during the curing process and do not qualify as defects.

The film’s warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
7. Ceramic Coating
-
Ceramic coatings are applied to surfaces that meet preparation standards. Failure to disclose prior paint damage or improper care may void warranty claims.

The coating requires a curing period; the Customer must follow care instructions provided post-service to maintain warranty coverage.
8. Vinyl Wraps
-
Vinyl wrap installations are performed on surfaces that are clean and damage-free. Any pre-existing imperfections may affect the final outcome.

The Company may need to remove specific parts of the vehicle in order to install a vinyl wrap correctly such as door handles and bumpers. The Company will notify the Customer of parts that will need to be removed and reinstalled at the time of the quote.

The Company is not responsible for wraps damaged by improper care, exposure to harsh chemicals, or accidents post-installation.
9. Window Tinting

It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that the selected window tint complies with all applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations. The Company will not be held liable for any fines, penalties, or legal issues resulting from non-compliance with these laws.

The Company may need to remove specific parts of the vehicle in order to install window tint correctly such as door panels. The Company will notify the Customer of parts that will need to be removed and reinstalled at the time of the quote.

The Customer is advised to wait at least three (3) to five (5) days before rolling down their windows to allow the tint to fully adhere. Failure to follow these guidelines may void the warranty.
10. Warranties
-
Any warranties offered are limited to defects in workmanship and materials and do not cover wear and tear, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.

Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase and within the warranty period.
11. Payment Terms
-
A deposit may be required to secure a booking. Full payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed.

Payments are accepted via cash, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
-
Payment is required even if the provided services aren’t satisfactory to the client due to the vehicle's condition or the termination of services due to possible damage.
-
Non-payment or chargebacks will result in legal action or recovery measures.
12. Cancellation and Rescheduling
-
Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time. Deposits are nonrefundable. Late cancellations may incur fees up to 25% of the total service cost.

The Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances or unsuitable weather conditions. Deposits will be held for the next scheduled appointment.
13. Care Instructions
-
Post-service care instructions will be provided. The Customer’s failure to follow these instructions may void warranties and impact service results.
14. Dispute Resolution
-
All service payments are final. If the Customer is not satisfied with the quality of the service, the Customer can notify the Company within 24 hours of the completion of the service to address concerns and provide a resolution to the Customer's satisfaction.

Any disputes arising from services provided shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with local laws.

The Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
15. Amendments
-
The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes.
16. Acceptance of Terms
-
By accepting services, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions in full.
